Love Network of Baytown held its Annual Coat and Blanket Giveaway on Dec. 10.
"We worked with many churches to get donated coats for those in need. Last year, many people were unprepared for the freeze. We wanted to get ahead of freezing temperatures this year," says executive director, Gladys Pryor.
Love Network handed out over 300 coats and 80 blankets to people in our area in need - over 200 being children. Coats that were left over were given to domestic violence shelters and local thrift stores that support Love Network of Baytown.
Love Network of Baytown is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that engages the community and bridges the gaps for those seeking help with basic needs.
